Travis Terrell
Travis Terrell was born in Normal, Illinois, and has always been interested in the automotive industry. From a young age, he immersed himself in the mechanics of vehicles and engines. However, he recognized his true passion for design during high school and confidently pursued it by attending Heartland Community College. There, his talent for Fine Arts shone through, particularly in ceramics and molding.
While excelling in his studies, Travis raced motocross and worked part-time as a custom woodworker. He honed his woodworking skills as an apprentice to Richard Randall, the owner of Randall Cabinet and Design, where he took on significant projects. His work included contributions to Frank Lloyd Wright’s William Glasner House in Glencoe, IL, and the Catholic Diocese of Peoria.
Travis is committed to leveraging his diverse talents and skills to forge a successful career at Rivian Automotive by actively pursuing design, drafting, and engineering knowledge.
